HISTORY...
In 1978, David Littwitz introduced Nylon Rain
Ponchos to the band and dance/drill team industry under the company name
"Littwitz Investments". Throughout the years, these high quality
Nylon Rain Ponchos have been purchased by more than 300 university and
high school marching bands, dance/drill teams and cheerleaders, as well as multiple businesses
and individuals.
As a result, RainPonchos.com has
become the nation's largest supplier of superior Nylon Rain Ponchos.
In February, 2005, Kim Burge, a 25 year dance/drill team director
veteran and former director of the Keller High School Indianettes dance team
(Keller, Texas), joined the company. July, 2007 brought on an
additional change as Kim became the new owner of RainPonchos.com and placed
RainPonchos.com under the umbrella of Rain Ponchos Plus, LLC. Kim
has and will be adding additional items to the Rain Ponchos Plus line.
Not quite willing to end her career as an educator,
Kim has retained her teaching position at Central High School in the Keller
Independent School District in Keller, Texas. 2007-2008 marks her 29th
year in education. She continues to remain active in the dance/drill team
industry as she serves as a contest adjudicator and frequent program speaker
while she and her husband raise two very active and athletic teenage children!
